Yon Blitz – Participate in the multiplayer virtual reality first-person shooter tournament in Milan and win an Asus Cerberus keyboard. After the success at Milan Games Week 2018, the VR game developed by the AnotheReality team is ready to kick off its traveling tournaments in major Italian cities.
The tournament, organized in collaboration with ASUS Italy for the pre-order launch of the new ASUS ROG Phone, will take place in Milan on Thursday, October 25th, 2018.

The first event, marking the debut of this Italian-made title in the world of eSports, will be held from 4 PM to 7 PM at the “NEXT Hardware & Software” store located at Via Giulio Cesare Procaccini, No. 20, 20154 Milan, with refreshments, catering, and exclusive discounts for event participants.

Four players divided into two opposing teams of 2vs2 will compete with “Blitz Guns,” equipped only with a shield and teleporter, in an immersive and futuristic arena, conquering suspended platforms to create their strategy and defeat the opposing team.
The game, not yet available on any platform or console, is suitable for every participant: no one is an expert or has had the opportunity to try it before; strategy and the desire to take part are all that matter!

The members of the winning team will receive 2 Asus Cerberus mechanical keyboards (Italian layout), one for each member!
The tournament allows a maximum of 15 teams (30 participants in total) and will be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis at the venue.
Participation is free for GEC members. If not a member, it will be possible to obtain a GEC membership directly at the tournament location on the day of the event for a cost of €1.00.
Participants under 18 years of age are required to submit the downloaded form HERE, filled out and signed with a copy of a parent’s identification document.

Tournament Type: Single Elimination

Tournament Execution, Pairings, and Bracket Formation
The teams will be divided according to the tournament structure, which will be determined by the Admin based on the number of participants. The general mode is single elimination.
Player Eligibility:
All players participating in the tournament must register their team before the start at the designated area. At the time of registration, they must choose a non-offensive team name. The team captain and their teammate must provide their full name. Minimum age requirement for players: 12 years old.
Result:
At the end of the match, both team representatives must communicate and confirm the result to the staff.
Forfeit:
Participants can choose to forfeit a match if they wish. Forfeiting will result in the loss of the match and exclusion from the next phase of the tournament.
Tie:
In case of a tie, overtime will be played in a new match. The first team to gain a two-kill advantage over the other will win the match and advance to the next round.
Prizes:
At the end of the tournament, the members of the winning team will be awarded 2 Asus Cerberus mechanical keyboards (Italian layout), one for each team member. The prizes will be announced and notified in advance via social networks.
Staff:
All participants must respect the decisions and rules of the organizers, administrators, and referees of the tournament. All decisions are final.
Fair Play:
To maintain the efficiency of the tournaments, the Staff reserves the right to disqualify teams. This will only be done in cases where a team has deliberately blocked or attempted to sabotage another team. In some scenarios, both teams may be affected by disqualification. Betting during the event (by a player, a team, or someone associated with the team) is against the rules.
Disciplinary Penalties:
Disturbing opponents with any improper behavior or inappropriate language is prohibited. The use of glitches, cheats, or anything that deviates from the normal course of the tournament is also prohibited. In case of doubt, immediately communicate the problem to the admin, who will decide on disqualification if necessary.
Disciplinary penalties consist of an initial formal warning and subsequent disqualification from the tournament in case of recurrence. Each decision will be at the sole discretion of the Admin.
Complaints and Disputes:
Any complaints must be submitted to the Admin at the tournament location and must contain valid reasons supported by substantial evidence. For any other situation, issue, or discussion not explicitly addressed in these rules, each decision will be at the sole discretion of the Admin. Complaints can only be made before leaving the gaming station and before the result is validated by the Admin.
